Uhm .. I didn't have a picture of the Chinese Lions Chasing the Spinning Ball — Tang Dynasty (618 to 907 A.D.). They've turned off the lights for that one exhibit when we got there. I spent too much time with those CUTE pandas .. LOL.
So, to make up for it … instead of giving you one picture for this last exhibit, I'm giving you 12 (yes, TWELVE!!!) pics:

Here are a few more extra pics I took while in the Ontario Place .. the first two are from when I was playing with the time thingy setting on my camera. Then one of my friend's friends (they're seriously serious photographers) showed me some interesting technique (that I've only read in books), and the result is the last two pics. I love wacky light pictures .. LOL! See if you can guess which lantern exhibit they're from (hint: they came from one exhibit, and part of it was moving).
Geez, no wonder I couldn't get pictures of all of the lanterns in one day .. spent too much time playing .. Haha!

And this concludes the “14 Days of Lantern” posts. Thank you to those who've been checking my posts out. And I'll keep the comments in mind for my next “lantern adventure”.
So, now that the 14 days is over .. what's next? (I had that question from fruityoaty a while ago) The answer is: I still don't know .. haha!
The possibility of taking pics of some grain of rice or tea leaves came up — which could be a lot of fun too. LOL! Feel free to leave me some suggestions.

Wow! The pics are wonderful! I love those animal lanterns. They are so cute!
I heart the last one – because of the focus is on the middle of the explosion and then your eye follows from “in to outward”. Simple composition – no frills. Good.
Oh, the animals. They’re all equally great (although I’m biased towards the monkey and the little piggy).
Photo challenge for you: Someone gives you a QUOTE and you actually try to take a photo that freaking MATCHES the (alluded) meaning of the quote. Here’s one for you, chicken (I double dare you):
“When you close your doors, and make darkness within, remember never to say that you are alone, for you are not alone; nay, God is within, and your genius is within. And what need have they of light to see what you are doing?” – Epictetus, Discourse Roman (Greek-born) slave & Stoic philosopher (55 AD – 135 AD)
… put it this way, if you happen to take a DARK photo (hahahaha! yeah, you love it), even if your photo turns out underlit, it’ll always sort of match the quote.
L8tr dark, evil genius.
