Ah, yes, the famous July 7, 2007. Was it, being 777, really a lucky/exceptionally good day? Or just a day like any other day?
My dad once told me that my grandma (my mom’s mom) said that there’s no bad days – everyday is a good day .. and if it’s bad, then we’re the ones who make it a bad day. Was she right? Of course she was, she’s my grandma!

So anyway, last Saturday, we went to Ontario Place in the evening to catch some fireworks in action. They had the finale of the Festival Of Fire that day. It was a little chilly after the sun went down, but I forgot about the cold when the fireworks started. LOL! It was great!

Then guess what, they turned some of the lantern lights on!! They’re still working on the lanterns for the upcoming Chinese Lantern Festival, so it’s still pretty messy there, but I was very excited to see that they turned some of them on. They have different lanterns than last year, but the pandas are back!
