Jiang Ziya lived during the Tang Dynasty. As a solution to escape the ruthless monarchy, he decided to go into seclusion. During seclusion he fished everyday without hook or bait. When asked how he managed to do so he explained, “the right fish will get hooked”.

This lantern illustrates the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Every year, the banquet was held during the celebration of festivals and was attended by The Emperor and his concubines. I am the Great Panda. My ancestors lived in China about 8 millenniums ago. I prefer to live high in the bamboo mountain forests that reach elevations of 800 to 3000 metres. I love Bamboo stems, leaves and shoots. Although I am chubby, I am quite agile.

Emperor Qin Shihuang was the first ruler in Chinese history to unite the entire country. He led an army that was considered the strongest throughout history. Riding the Whirlwind is a lantern depicting Qin Shihuang leading the army towards the battlefield with courage and bravery.
