This lantern illustrates the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Every year, the banquet was held during the celebration of festivals and was attended by The Emperor and his concubines. Exquisite music was played with traditional instruments and the beautiful concubines would dance the “Colourful Plumage Dance” to entertain the guests.
