More than five thousand years ago, Yuan Fei, wife of the Ruler Huang Di, taught the methodology of Sericulture to the common people. This method of Sericulture included the culturing of mulberries, as well as reeling, and weaving silk. During the Western Han Period, this technology was introduced to Europe.
